I love adventure, taking the plunge, looking for future opportunities. From the age of 15, I travelled abroad on my own to do holiday jobs. I studied English, theology, and psychology, worked as a teacher in secondary education for a few years and got involved in development work. In my travels across the globe I have seen a lot of suffering. That touches me and gives me an enormous drive to contribute to other people’s well-being. Education is a wonderful and powerful means to achieve this. That is where I want to make a difference. My motto: never, never, never give up.
